Not caught the rest of the series, but the George Papandreou episode was filmed in a studio/office in Westminster Tower near Lambeth Bridge on the South Bank. Which is the home to Aljazeera's London Bureau.

I'm not sure about the current series, but the ones that were on between Christmas & New year were from there as I remember seeing it in the credits.

The three Christmas episodes were definitely at AP Central London.

Impact just crashed out, mid way through a report and straight into the weather. Not good! They didn't even go back to Lyse Doucet for the close. Falling off a cliff stuff. Shoddy.

Bit of an awkward standing interview on The Hub at the moment. Not because he is all dressed up but because there is quite a bit of distance between Tim and Guest and the fact they're standing. It would be better if they were sitting on stall. However guest started using hand gestures when Tim referred to the map through interview which made it not so awkward.

I think the whole Hub presentation is awkward, especially when Nick is squashed in that corner. This show will profit the most from the BH move.

The OxBridge Boat Race is being shown live on World at the moment. Clare Balding in a boat, and Jonathan Legarde in a comm box.

Do they normally show this on World? (asks the man who has been watching BBC World ever since it was created......but can't remember seeing a coxless pair ever on the channel.)

Just tuned in at the top of the hour and was like WTF is this, where's the news, is BBC World having some kind of collapse? Shocked Laughing I had to turn over to CNN for a news update on a weekend. Surprised

I remember they showed something about boats last year too, probably this. Not really familiar with this stuff.

Problematic end to the 02:00 Newsday - Babita finished her story, and it switched to the two-shot of Babita and Rico. They both just stared at the camera, Babita clearly expecting Rico to close the bulletin. After a good few seconds of silence and smiles, we cut to the weather. Not sure if they lost comms with Rico, or just hadn't made it clear who was closing the bulletin, but not a great way to end.
