According to tweets, no regional headlines again. Is that because it's too much hassle to patch the talkback through from Millbank to the regions (and keep it all in sync) or because they can't get a feed from Sport in Salford for the sustaining feed? I can't think of any other good reason, other than keeping things simple.

Which is strange since Beyond 100 Days, the 8:00pm hour and Outside Source have all gone out without further technical problems.

Not too sure if this is 100% related but Outside Source was from its normal position tonight instead of Munich as hinted at the end of yesterday's edition. There was a small, recorded insert at the end from Munich so perhaps this was the plan all along, but it was implied to have been live as it was on Monday.

I thought they were still having some issues. Also, even if the problems had been solved, I would have thought they would prefer to do the programme from somewhere where they know systems won't fail, rather than run the risk.

If I was running this kind of backup service I’d want to keep it as simple as possible, and the regional headlines would be first to get thrown out.

Does this programme have the same running order as 6?

The image of the news room behind Hue looks awful in HD.

It’s a locked off shot from the camera on him... can’t they change the screens to green and use cso to make it sharper?

And I agree, the balcony looks horrible.
