The BBC World countodown has changed again. There is now an announcer at the the end of the countdown who says "This is BBC World. Putting News First".

Adrian Finighan actually slips (ad libbed) the new slogan into his delivery on screen. It sounds quite good actually, IMHO.

I guess, as is the case with all brands, BBCW has to move on and refresh it's slogan from time to time.

CNNI, Sky and even ITN do the same, so why not BBCW?

I have been busy lately and haven't had much time to actually sit down and write on this forum, although I have been reading, and have to say that I agree with all of you above who have noted the massive amount of new camera shots and angles that are used on BBCW. A little bit too varied, one may well think.

Where is Nik Gowing right now? Haven't seen him at the newsdesk for a while.

Did BBCWorld have a slogan before? Anyway this one is awful.
Nik Going has been at the summit in Davos, Switzerland. (I think he interviewed Viktor Yushchenko there).

Oh yes, I liked that slogan! At least, we did not see and hear it every two minutes...

Who is the blonde woman in the BBC World-Putting News First advert? I hate her, the BBC should fire her NOW.
