But at most he can only sleep for 20minutes? Or even none if its continuous...

He probably has some special pills that the BBC give him to keep him awake! Laughing

Yeah, when I worked at TVC, I got the full wrath from my boss saying "it's not big, and it's not cleaver" to post on TV Forum.

Maybe he was a veggie and had issues with you taking a meat cleaver into work?

I'll just get my coat...

And she is still there... She has beaten all the records. Do any of you know when she started her shift?

Lindsey did 1000-1930 and was on air for most of that

I'd imagine they were concerned about confidential information - especially regarding such things as re-launches - being leaked to all and sundry.

Well she was great even at the end of that mammoth shift. It seems that Lindsey is very under-valued by BBC World...she's the longest serving presenter, having worked for the channel since 1991, and yet she hasn't got her own regular shift. Even if she has to be a relief presenter, she could at least be used more often - she's far better than some of the other reliefs they use.

Yeah, she's a good broadcaster even if she seems to me a little too severe. Yet I saw her joking with Aaron Heselhurst during a bulletin several months ago, which was quite surprising and funny.

Phoenix InfoNews Channel over here in Asia does it interestingly, they do not have presenters presenting continuously, but for 2 or 3 hours then another presenter comes in for another 2 or 3 hours then the previous presenter will return for another 2 or 3 hours. Cool

On the contrary, I think Lindsey is very laid-back and easy-going. On many occasions, I've seen her joking with business and sport presenters during the throws.

I agree.. she is wonderful and has a good vibe going with the other presenters.... I taped 6hours of BBC World from 1100GMT - 1700GMT when its set was launched.. and she was on it and before the news began Her and Darshin were having a good old yarn and I remember watching over the tape of the starting titles when it had the shot from the ceiling her mic must of got turned up a bit early.... and you could hair her quite voice saying OK to darshini then she looks to the camera...

I thinks shes good.
