Incidentally if you want to be a presenter then it's a good idea to turn up for the programmes on time, especially if the boss is watching.

What do you mean?

What do you mean?

Was this the edition of World Business Report that had to be presented by Nik Gowing a few months ago because the business presenter wasn't there?

What Marcus is saying is clearly simple to understand, but since you don't, Marcus saying that he was not sacked for participating in this forum.

Well i've seen a business presenter present the World News, but the presenter didn't get sacked for that!

Actually, he was. You wouldn't believe how well known this place is around the BBC, let alone other broadcasters.

Hmm... Not entirely sure you're correct there. A number of presenters post here - and MANY (as well as managers) lurk reading posts. I've seen the site open on a number of desktops in the BBC News Centre...

There are several News Reporters and Correspondents on this forum actually.

Without giving anything away, just suffice it to say that a senior presenter associated with my Title practically LIVES on these boards, when he's or she's not behind the newsdesk!! Fact!

Dominic di Natale is now at Sky, is he? Doing what exactly?

And did anyone see Mike Embley on yet again last night? Does this man EVER go home??

Yeah, when I worked at TVC, I got the full wrath from my boss saying "it's not big, and it's not cleaver" to post on TV Forum.

Oh hum, how times have changed! Me being my own boss & all now Wink
