Yes at 0500 the programme starts
"This is The World Today from BBC News"
the rest of the morning on World it starts
"This is BBC News from BBC World"
the only major difference is that David doesn't stay for an hour and rap up the programme with Sally.

I told you. The item has gone. It's sitting in a skip somewhere just outside TV Centre.
Come on its obvisouly nothing significant so tell us, we'll never get it otherwise - and considering its gone you may as well. LOL

In the end it will have been the chair of the Business/sport presenter which has disappeared
DJ
Now, what has it been? I haven't spotted any change in the newsroom.
Wait... it's a new chair for the presenter. Nisha Pillai obviously is too small for it because she's using a cusihon.

So the "Sport Today" set has disappeared and they're now using the set of "The World" for the programme. Looks quite good.
MD
The set in the World newsroom will be modified before the end of the year.

I'm afraid that is holding up the roof. Take it away and BBC Online would come crashing down into the Newsroom
C'mon Marcus just tell us...
and spoil the surprise. I wouldn't be so cruel

Good to hear. BTW who was the business presenter on "The World Today" this morning?
WT
It was Sally Eden formally with GMTV (UK Breakfast provider for all those world viewers), I don't rate her she seems very nervous! Where is the legendary Sally Bundock?

Yeah, since Jane Sinclair left, they've been trying out a few business presenters - Sally Eden, Angela Garvey, Dominic Di Natale, Aruna Iyengar (although she had presented business news several years ago on the channel). I haven't seen Manisha Tank for a while either -- is she just on holiday?
