Yes I have noticed the Different structure and breaks in the news. I think someone in a few pages back said that the structure was going to change. They also go into a break after business and sport and both time in the last hour they ave cut off Darshini.
Does anyone know why they are changing this?? are they simulcasting with N24?? I dont like how david didnt say goodbye just a moment ago.
Marcus... how long is not too long... i am very excited for some reason!?

Don't know if the way they're dealing with breaks now is a good solution. A minute ago David Jessel just said "You're watching BBC World. This was followed by the generic break sting (the one used overnight and on TWT) and an ad break. After the break the generic break sting was played again and David Jessel went straight into the next news story without saying "Welcome back..." or something like that.

If I understand it correctly BBC World now wants to provide "continous coverage" insted of half hour news bulletins at the top of the hour. So they now also have news summaries at half past. Maybe not a bad idea though the way it's being handled is not the best IMO.

I dont like they way they are handling BBC World News at the moment... hopefully its just a test. If they want to have Headlines at the bottom of the hour then they should but they shouldnt change the layout of the bulletin.

Are BBC World gone completely mad? Learn how to make a news bulletin without a cock-up every three minutes would be much more useful than a new studio...
Anyway, what's Darshini's surname? She's fantastic, she really is a good reason to get interested in business news.

Maybe the news summaries at half past will come from a stand up area in the new studio to make room for programmes like WBR/Asia Today in the main set.
