How long have you been a fan of BBC World? I have been watching World since 1996, whilst living in various countries abroad, and I always wondered what has happened to some names who disappeared without trace. Perhaps you can enlighten me, if you are such a huge fan (which incidentally I am too!!)
Teymoor Nabili
Donald MacCormack
Nici Marx
Carla Garapedian
Peter Coe
Other than recently being told that "they are no longer here", I really do wonder where they have gone!! Any ideas?
Saw David Eades back on TWT this morning. The BBC World logo looks quite good on the N24 suspended screens, don't you think?
Teymoor Nablili was last seen presenting Market Watch on CNBC Asia, though I think he's now moved to Market Wrap (not shown over here). Couldn't tell you bout any of the others...
Wow, I am getting excited about the new set. But is anyone sure enough to confirm that there is really a new set coming? I don't wanna see a new screen or just a new metal 'fencing' behind you see.

I know that Peter Coe no longer works for BBC News - he left BBC News 24 just before the Iraq War in 2003. As for Nici Marx, I vaguely remember her moving to CNN, but I've not seen her since then. Can anyone confirm/deny the move to CNN?
Incidentally, I've been watching the channel BBC World since 2000 - I first discovered it in a hotel in Rome. However, I had seen World News bulletins on aeroplane flights throughout the 1990s.
I first discovered BBC World while on a trip in Thailand... I guess that's the first news channel I ever came across back then and was glued to it in the hotel room

Well, if NickyS and Marcus say so, you can rely on it, seeing as they are both BBC News insiders.
Is it me, or have they done something to the top of the hour countdown music?, also pres have made a change to the emergency aston of the breakfiller, plus during the break the bbc world breakbumper now appears straightway.
I first saw BBC World in 1995, at the time I was actually quite disappointed at the fact they didn't show CBBC but now however I am one of those weirdos who can watch the channel for absolutely hours on end and pay intense attention to such things as who is presenting and how long the dynamic junction was on for. On a serious note, why is it that BBC World can produce such viewers where as many other channels (at least so it seems on this forum) do not manage the same thing?
On the issue of the new studio, what can we expect from it? When you think about it, the newsroom has not changed all that much since the days of News 24 being there where as the new N24 newsroom changed quite beyond recognition.

Well one thing should still remain in position, is the gallery!
