I'm going to start a new thread as this one is starting to suffer from Crossroads Syndrome. (the ghosts pages at the end that affect long threads)

Is Lyse Doucet in the Middle East yet? Can't imagine a conflict in that region without Lyse being there for BBC World. I noticed over on the N24 thread, it has been noted that Ben Brown is over there for BBC.

Lyse seems to be covering for World and Ben for News 24.

Well, Ben has been reporting for World a lot, too.

Anyway why why why are BBC World's interpreters so bad??? To understand something of Olmert's speech I had to switch to CNN, and it's definitely not the first time this happens.

I don't actually recall seeing much of Ben on World these last few days. Is there any chance that we (in the Middle East) are getting a different feed from the rest of you? Can't imagine so.
