Manisha was on this morning. I think she should become a news anchor, and perhaps Juliette would take over from her?

Ben Gagehon, excuse the spelling. He's a reporter who's turning his hand to presenting ala Tim Muffet and Jake Lynch. Hopefully he'll preform slighly better than the latter two.

Ben Geoghegan has been presenting for years - he's certainly no newcomer. He anchored the weekday 09.00-13.00 shift on BBC News 24 for several years alongside Jackie Hardgrave and Joanna Gosling.
Guess who's doing Have Your Say? Yep, you're correct....Jonathan Charles! I must say, though, he's a great presenter. He's just about as good as Alastair Yates. BBC World have always had a habit of flogging presenters to death (Mike Embley, anyone?) but at least this time they're doing it with someone who's less irritating.
Great to see Manisha behind the newsdesk this morning. I knew it was only a matter of time before she began doing more than just business news. A very skilled presenter.
By the way, does anyone know what's happened to David Jessel? He's been on World for several years but I've hardly seen him lately. He was always one of my favourite relief presenters.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember Mr Jessel introducing the first 'World News Today' which wasn't all that long ago.
But yeah, some very noticable absences from the world desk, not least Steven Coal, how he's missed.

Is Lyse Doucet in the Middle East yet? Can't imagine a conflict in that region without Lyse being there for BBC World. I noticed over on the N24 thread, it has been noted that Ben Brown is over there for BBC.
