OK, I am at my desk and nowhere near a TV, so someone please post details of where the presentation of the 0900 London time bully comes from.

Thanks a lot.

Lyse Doucet is still in the News 24 studio. I wonder what they're going to do from 0900 GMT, when News 24 need their studios back.

Use the BBC4 Green set..... Very Happy

The BBC 4 set is in the World newsroom. So, if they're doing significant changes to that newsroom the BBC 4 set will be unavailable.

They won't have done anything significant yet. Don't expect a new set today!

Of course they will have. They'll have worked on it all weekend, round the clcok. World is going to need its base this week, I beg to differ, and think they'll be home sooner than you think.

Nope, still a little while to go before you see a new BBC World newsroom!

They're back in the "The World" set. So they can't do any works to the world newsroom at the moment, can they?

This is getting exciting. How are they going to carry out works when they are using The World studio? Or are we going to expect something totally different...

My guess is that most of the work will be carried out overnight and while TWT is in N8. Then, during the day, World can go back to N9 without interrupting News 24 or the National News in N6.

Any idea how long this is going to take?

Is the 9.30 News 24 World bulletin coming from The Word set?

You keep on talking about how bad idea it was to start redecorating the World's studio just days before the Elections...

I still think that on the day of the US Elections News 24 and World will operate in a joint service, broadcasting bulletins from the News 24 and Washington studio. If this is the case, then World's studio won't be needed so they will be able to work there all day. Anyone agree? Smile

Almost. A lot of stuff is being driven from 24, but most of the time it will be 10 -15 min joints, and I doubt you'll get any work done during the day, that would be foolish - in case there were any unforseen problems.

The only time work will be done is overnights and during breakfast, which is why it will take some time, there are a lot of moves to happen in the newsroom. Wink

I can tell you now - the only set that exists in the world newsroom at the moment is the BBC4 set - everything else has GONE!
