If you noticed, the headline bed seemed to begin each time again after each thunderclaps

Didnt sound too hectic.

I dont like the studio.
Far too dark, the projecters really need to be improved

It is far too dark, also the new WBR titles, sorry it's not very good, it's poor! Crying or Very sad

Could anyone capture the closing of World News Today, please?

Clunky, awful graphics; an underlit broom cupboard of a studio; washed out rear projection; the usual cock ups and mis-cues on Astons, Coming Up, etc.; and almost zero differentiation on content.

Yes folks, it's BBC World's recipe to get America watching its 'superior' output.

They really do have to be joking this time.

You an idiot? this programme differs from regular news programmes and slightly more than The World Today... today there was a few cock ups, yesterdays was fine.

And jamej yesterday after WNT was Kirsty Lang on News, Manisha Tank on Business and Francis Collings on Sport.... then the next shift was Lindsey Brancher on News, Dharshini David on Biz and Rob on Sport.

After WNT Today its Kirsty on News, Manisha on Biz and unsure on Sport.

But have the shifts changed to accomodate George's new programme?

Hey, I've seen the first World News Today bulletin on TV on Monday. Very, very nice. George is using the set used in WBR/Sport Today. He also has a BBC Six O'Clock News bulletin to appear on air with Natasha Kaplinsky 6 hours later. Am I correct?

Like the small tewaks made at World. Wondered why Zeinab and the WBR and Sports anchors had moved their seating positions to the very end of the desk. Now self explanatory.

But - call me old fashioned - I still DETEST any news programme that has presenters standing up. I loathe this style. Even Manisha Tank - and all her brilliance - made this style look lumpy and clunky.

Why can't everyone follow CNNI's example and have anchors seated, where they should be.

Nisha Pillai seems to have taken over on the main editions of Asia Today. She is still highly good. And Jono Charles doing midweeks too. Not bad!

Dobster has a fabulous sun tan too. He is now looking even more than usual like George Hamilton V..........
