it will be interesting to see how they close the programme. Will they have some sort of 'TWT' closing titles?

I know I've just seen it once, but the new sting for WBR is rubbish... I hope they're just using it for this edition of the programme.

No. that sting has been used already today so I think it's here to stay!

The set is terrible, I've never liked it. Why don't they use their main set, it's better looking and brighter, and George could stand next to the plasma screen. They could use some different opening music, it's always that same old boring one.

Clearly they had some problems with the timing, WBR had to end very roughly cutting off Tanya Beckett while she was still speaking.
I'm not very impressed wiith it, but I think it might get intersting once some problems are fixed.

Well as i expected, WORLD NEWS TODAY closed in the same fashion as TWT. Overall not a bad programme if you put presentation aside.

They were lucky to have some big news anchors to cross over too (David Eades in Berlin, Lyse Doucet in Jerusalem, Tanya in New York). this added a lot of weight to the show. It was fairly balanced in terms of content.

However, I agree with previous comments, that studio is too small for a programme like that. They should either use the normal set or the new national/hardtalk set.

Very nice way of starting the programme with presenters in the studio, at the London Stock Exchange and in Singapore.
Speaking about Hardtalk, today's edition begins with the short sting and after Stephen Sackur's presentation of his guest shows the longer sting, the one that usually opens the programme.
