Ergh..I'll be in the ROI when its unvieled. THis is what my surce said:

"Firstly, with regards to any revamping of BBC World in terms of set or
titles, you'll have to wait and see; I won't be giving out any hints or feed
any speculation on that. All I can do and as boring as I expect you'll find
this is just simply to agree that yes, there was an area cleared out behind
the news set.

Behind would mean behind the cameras, etc?

If they're clearing out N9 then that would seem to make sense.

Any need for the triple post?

This only different thing on BBC World is that the desk isnt lit up like it previously was...

It may not look like much of a difference here but on tv it does.

Yes the light has broken, and a new one has to be purchased. That takes a long time in the BBC

The set looks so dark, they might as well broadcast with candlelights!

Actually, it doesn't. I mean, the old set was much darker but it looked much better... Candlelights would be interesting... might be better than the current red/white studio IMO,

Yes, it's very dark and TBH doesn't look very nice. Maybe the relaunch will make it better...

Listen to this. I fail to understand what it's all about. Is this an Asia-only thing? Is it new? I've never heard about it before? When does it go out?

Well it gives a clue to some of the changes happening tomorrow.

As well as georgous george and his newshour, there are a few other schedule and presenter changes, including an hour aimed at Asia from 1700-1800BST. This includes Asia Today.

NB Don't expect a new set. You may get a few new images in the screens

Whoa! I saw Peter Dobbie on Asia Today earlier and I must say, his hair look awful!!

Here's what BBC WORLD's TV listings tell us about the new programme:

World News Today
including World Business Report
World News Today is a comprehensive programme of news and analysis, including World Business Report.

Sounds as if it's just going to be another edition of "The World Today".
