Can somebody query BBC World b/c I don't feel like writing an email, about if they are prepareing for a new look.

Well there is a new programmes coming soon with a nice new look, and there may be a few more changes on the way. If I were you I'd keep my eyes peeled next week

and new theme music perhaps courtesy of david lowe?

That would be good, b/c the current mix is a bit weak and bland in my opinion.

I noticed that the tower is static, and during the Top of the hour wide shot , you can see behind the glass in the london studio, there are white mats, like they are going to expand further into the newsroom. Also, the presenter is in the akward back facing projector screen postion, but it is showing the video screen background of the newsroom. Looks pretty daft really.

And several large bangs, and the presenter, rolled her eyes and just kept on talking, and you heard several loud shhhh sounds.

Unrelated (I think) but at the TOTH of the World Today, the Symbol fired, then mistakenly cut to the wide studio shot, with the Symbol audio, then cut to VT, still with Symbol audio , then mixed to reval 'The World Today' - look quite nice for something that went wrong.

Also during the headlines, why display 'Live fron Berlin" on the aston, when using the LIVE tag in the top right, and not to mention the reporter "we're live in Germany etc etc..."

I've also noticed several new astons popping up, as stated before. It looked like ITV goes red-orange, And It looks like the set will be expanded further back.

Seamus, I have to ask, do you have some sort of unhealthy obsession with BBC World? Every other post in this thread is one of yours.........

Will BBC World have a possible relaunch like the national bulletins (BBC One)?

No, Its just summer holidays for me, and I have nothing to do. Just bored really. And the Part of NYC I'm in is suburban, so nothing to do. I'm not doing anything obsessive. I really want to go outside, but it is raining quite heavley.

I've had a source confirm to me that I was right about the cleared space behind the london set.

So BBC World is making some changes to the set. I didn't notice all of those things you did, but than again I don't watch it as much as I did before.

My source won't tell me the details, but they confirmed that a full revamp will become apparent in the coming days.
