Yes Damo, so refreshing to see another version of the countdown today as well, as opposed to the singular version we've had for months.
It has been a good few months since I last saw today's version, featuring Clive Myrie amongst others.
Tony Campion - I quite liked his delivery and style. Hope we get to see more of him on BBC World.
Martine Dennis - having watched it again yesterday (African School, that is), I am even more convinced that it is Martine's voiceover. Alas, I missed the closing sequence and credits so was unable to verify. I know that Anya S does some other voicing, but is is definately not her on African School.

Yay! Im seeing a different version of the countdown!! I could only tell it was different because of the numbers being more condensed like news 24's and they weren't really sitting in the red box properly!

HA
Not a chance in my - alas not infallible - judgement. I conceed their voices are quite easily mistakable for each other, but Martine's, with all due respect, sounds a lot more quavering than that. Notwithstanding, however, the eventuality of her voiving programmes with a different tone from her quite tremolous fashion of anchoring news bulletins.

Today's 'Have Your Say' was a simulcast, presented by Damien Grammaticas at Chernobyl, and featured interesting titles -
TOG, orange globe, with 'News Extra' on the ribbon round the globe, with the usual 'BBC News' and 'BBC World' lettering at the end. Simulcast on News 24 for us UK folk too.

My TV Capturing software is crap and cheap, the quality that you also think is fantastic is rather crap too!! If your talking to me lol
And me thinks that the swooshes need to be taking out of the countdown, it looks as if they have mixed the countdowns together and the swooshs swoosh to nothing when they should be whenyou see a red bean fly past

Thanks for that!
What I find puzzling however is that your (home recorded, presumably)video is cristal clear compared to those available on the BBCNews website. Are you equipped with state of the art TV capture technology or is it that the BBC's is obsolete?
