I know absolutely nothing about BBC World, so don't rip me to shreads. I already know the you can't officially view BBC World in the UK, but is there any way that I can?

Yay! Im seeing a different version of the countdown!! I could only tell it was different because of the numbers being more condensed like news 24's and they weren't really sitting in the red box properly!

Someone talked about the voice over of the "African school" series, lately, saying it presumably was Martine Dennis's. I'm more convinced than ever that it's rather Anya's. But I assume Martine must be in charge of the "wold challenge" segments, and taht it was also her voice for last year's.

The ladys voice that does World Challenge sounds nothing like Martinnes.

Think the announcer who voices the World Challenge promos on BBC World is Dee Sebastian, a presenter with BBC World Service radio.

But The world challenge is 100% pure BBC World stuff isn't it? Accordingly, I thought those promos would be handled/produced and, as a matter of fact, voiced by World's staff members. I wasn't aware the BBC's numerous segments were sharing those kinds of tasks.

The reason the donga stream of bbc world doesn't work anymore is, they've sorted out a way to keep the Brits from watching it. They now appear to block British IPs from watching world, or ABC for that matter.

Yes Florian I took those caps with my digital camera a while back, I can now record and upload. and will do in a couple of days...

as for the new presenter, i quite like him... anyone know where he came from?
