Does anyone know when BBC World will get the TOG changes made to BBC News 24?
Hopefully never. Once they get round to making the TOG look less squshed perhaps?

Hopefully in may when things change, BBC World will change too.

I was surprised to see Carrie Gracie presenting HardTalk just now, in view of the fact that she got the full Adrian Finighan voiced introduction, i.e. "And now on BBC World, HardTalk, with Carrie Gracie."

I didn't know she had presented it before, but assume that she must have, given AF's intro.

Have noticed that BBC World has generally been "cleaner" in the last couple of weeks. Graphics have been sharper and mostly error-free, and the opt ins/outs have been correctly executed.

Keep it up World.

Indeed it has improved alot over the past few weeks.

A big Welcome Back to Tanya Beckett, who is now back at the New York News Desk. She and Dharshini David had an excellent programme last night.

So, where's Manisha?

I have to say, Zeinab Badawi is great on The World.

Anyone know if the online stream via the donga link has been taken off permanently? It seems to have been down for ages. Are there any other streams still working?

Probably has because idiots keep mentioning it.

OK. Let me put this simply, for you. As long as you make reference to such a stream then it will be removed. It's very simple. That stream is not designed to be viewed by the masses and publically refering to it, let alone making it available will help neither course. Now, go away and think on that for a while.

I feel sorry for Mrs Embley. She is definately a "news widow", in the same way that many other women are golf widows!!!

Does this man enjoy working seven days a week? Not that I'm complaining, because he is by far the best thing on BBC World at the moment.

James how very considerate of you. I'm more concerned at this present time for Mr Willcox's love life though...

Sir Willcox wins hands down in terms of the amount of time he spends in work - he covers varying shifts at all times of day and night and I counted 15 days at one stage in February without a day off. They'd be lost without him.
