Oh. They did that? I only saw that they used a ceiling shot on one of the bulletins which Adrian was presenting, I cant really make out is it real or not but a male figure was there... So its a mock up. I cant wait to see the new studio. Or will I be disappointed?

They did it again just a minute ago at the beginning of the summary.
You mean the mock up? Isnt BBC World revealed that they are in the The World studio already? How come they showed the mock up again... Well, I missed it earlier on. Shall catch the next one...

No, not a mock-up. A wide shot of the "The World"/Sport Today set.

http://www.rp-networkservices.com/tvforum/uploads/ws1.jpg At the top of the 5:00GMT bulletin, they had a wrong studio shot in an instant. If this is not recording, and as far as I see this picture, they are doing no modification for the studio.
I actually quite like the fact that The World studio is being used for BBC World News at present. A slightly larger version of the desk to accommodate 3 people, and it could be made permanent, IMO (I know that it won't, but it looks quite good.)
However, I am guessing that they will only use this set at weekends (i.e. when The World is not broadcast), and will use the BBC National News set midweek, when there is a need for two presenter capacity (TWT and WBR etc.)
Anya Sitaram was quite good on BBC World yesterday.
Jake Lynch was absolutely appalling on N24 overnight. Why do they persist with this guy?

Can someone kindly confirm whether this will take longer than a week?
