Good cock up on Asia Business Report just now - the green screen behind Rico was on, with him talking to camera, then cut to a scene of Singapore, then Rico somehow miraculously appearing in front of it!

Brilliant!

Is that really a green screen? Wow, I thought he was just in a building as it looks like he is in the corner of an office, and the scene behind him seems like its really there.

I suspect johnnybegood may be referring to the backdrop they use for the early editions of Asia Business Report when they just use a static skyline image, rather the office block view you see during the rest of the day.

Of course, I could well be wrong.

No, you're right - just a static backdrop.

Oh, and Jamie Robertson is certainly not good at handling autocue failure - stumbling really badly just now with the business roundup.

Great to see Ms. MacKenzie in the daylight even if to me she is the night presenter for excellence.

Not to mention the excellent WBR "Well, that's umm, well, right [20 seconds or so] Right, we're back. AbLib-ing? Not even to save his life

Peter Marshall has been a reporter on Newsnight for the past few years, but I've never seen him present before.
