Why not? AFAIK it was recorded at 1130 this morning.

I hope that Peter Dobbie still keeps his slot on News 24 - he's an excellent presenter, top class - would be a shame for us UK folk if he was on World permenantly, although good news for him with more international exposure.

Well, the World newsroom is busy with BBCNews 30mins every hour and Dateline London is a 50 mins programme.

I don't like them both... I don't usually criticise newsreaders, it's just that I find them very very plain.

48 Second countdown before the last toth, couldnt help but notice it was at least half a second out of sync, when it would beep, the second woud go down till around 1/2 a second later.

Has BBC World got some new equipment or have they learnt how to ues it properly?

Because for the first time since Dec 2003 I actually heard the countdown fading in to the headline bed, and there was no pause when at all when it changed from countdown to Mike in the set.

Newer posts
