Hello Haibara, try Real Player, although some of the videos on The TV Room weren't working for me either.

Thanks for the tip-off, Harshy!

I've had another e-mail from Adrian to answer why he hasn't worn glasses for ages. He said he had laser eye surgery to correct the problem.

Hope that's of some interest.

Actually it strikes me as a little personal. Not sure I would be so quick to repeat it.

No offence.

Actually, Gavin, Adrian gave me permission to repeat that on the forum, hence the whole purpose of the e-mail.

It would be interesting to know what BBC presenters think about BBC World presentation (graphics, cock-ups, new format...)

To be honest, I doubt any give a damn. So long as they're getting paid and all that...

Well, perhaps some presenters don't do their job just for the money but also because they like what they do and the channel they work for...

Knowing those I know in TV news, I can't think there'd be many who care about presentation. Getting the interviews and words right is their first priority.

Oh, and getting out of bed on time, knowing one... Smile

David Sileto package on the restructuring on the BBC World Service had some good shots inside the World gallery. The director was behind David's left shoulder. It also had some shots of the set from the side

Not sure if anyone noticed on Monday night, but the midnight TOTH had "The World Today" caption overlayed for some reason instead of "BBC World".

It was just a mistake - obviously someone put the wrong code in for the live titles.
