Thats not funny, shes just plain thinck in the head and very bloody rude.

well clearly nobody bothered to tell her what viewers in that region would be seeing. nice of her to recognise the fact they were having an opt.

My favourite moment of hers was the bit where she insulted you live on air

In November, it will be two years since the current opening theme on bbc world news has been in place. Do you think it will be changed/remixed like it was in April 2002?

I can see slight changes being done to the graphics, and possibly the music, but I do not expect a total rebrand until they move in 2008.

2008 is a long way really, I think there will be minor changes to the music and maybe opening titles.

Fu*k! I have a really wierd mind! I just sat down quickly to watch the TOTH and I was thinking if they were ever going to start TWT and the other 2 bulletins from the right hand side of the newsroom like they used to in the old set for a while, and as soon as the countdown finished it was on the right hand side! How wierd.

David went to start of and he says "Hello I'm... where are we! then looked at the right camera and goes "I'm David Eades and Manisha had a laugh then she said high then such and such. Then after the opening titles when they showed the ariel shot you could see the main camera in the middle they usually use, do a 180 degree turn quite fast. So someone must of been mucking around withit and forgot to turn it around again!

Anyone able to shed some light yet as to where Keshini has gone?

I'll try.

From what ive been told her contract expired with the bbc and is longer with them.

The BBC lets all the best people go away... I'm also thinking about Anita McNaught.

I don't like this way of opening TWT in particular because the camera was still.

It was unexpected id say for them to use this shot, because after the opening titles from the ariel shot you could see the camera they normally use for opening pan do a 180 degree turn and it was quite fast.

But from the right hand shot it would look good if they panned it, but woudnt we see David's legs?!

When did Anita McNaught leave exactly? Did she ever anchor the news from the redesigned newsroom? That's sad she left anyway. I enjoyed the way she closed her bulletins saying "That's all from the BBCWorld newsroom . . . . . for the moment"

Why 2008? Do really think those changes take place every 4 years? I don't think the current design in the newsroom will last as long as the former one. Almost one year on, I already cannot stand that french flag in the background any more! I no longer stand those tasteless and garish white walls either. From the week that immediatly followed the redesign, I have been demanding and yearning for radical changes to this bizarre, frosty, creepy studio ('cause that's what this newsroom is). The sooner, the better.
