No offense, but they're quite bland. I hope they send Adrian to DC. He would attract so many more viewers or for diversity, you could go with George Alagiah.

I want Adrian to stay in London so I would see him more often. He needs bulletins where he can interact with the business and sport presenters. Plus, I just don't see him wanting to move the US. As for Alagiah - don't like him much.

George Alagiah is currently anchor of the Six O'Clock News, BBC One's most watched news programme. I really doubt he would leave for a 2 hour shift in Washington.

George would be best suited back out on the road as a correspondent. Agree with the sentiment that Adrian should remain in London. He would in fact be an ideal replacement for George on the Six, as I mentioned in a few pages prior to this one.

Yes, Adrain would be a superb replacement for Geogre on the Six. He has that certain "on-screen" presence. However I wouldn't entirly remove Geogre from presenting. I'd either move him to the 10 O'Clock News; or a complete return to a new look BBC Four News. (If that ever happens...)
I'd also move Mishal over to the nationals. She proved herself more than worthy in her little Breakfast stints.

That OK James?

Yes, thats great Mtrix. I haven't forgotten your advance for October!! Mishal is another good, steady presenter.

What about them both presenting the six. (really diving into the realms of impossiblity; but if Tasha K can do it surly anyone can...)

There was some talk a while ago that Geogre would return to the feild and there would be a major shake-up of the national bulletins....

Oh and the cheque better hadn't bounce this time!

Why two editions of The World? Also the 1930GMT WBR and Sport Today were replaced by Talking Movies. I'm not sure but I think they've being doing so for at least a few days.

There are two editions of TW at the moment because of the BBC Proms being shown on BBC Four. They take the programme at seven, as the Proms start at either 7 30 or 8, and the usual edition is shown at 8. (all times BST)

You mean the 1730G WBR and Sport Today. These programmes swap with the 1630 programmes for this week only. This is because BBC4 in the UK takes The World at 1800G rather than the usual 1900G due to it's live coverage of the proms.

Back to normal next week

Anyway thanks to both of you.
