We certainly did. Great new countdown.

I find the This is BBC World, Putting News First is rather 'slowing the pace' =s Perhaps after the countdown cut straight to the studio with the headline beat instead of fading over... slows things down.

Good idea Yaloh. That may just work. I agree that the voiceover does haver a slowing effect over the somewhat fast pace of the rest of the countdown.

However, it may just be the particular voice used, as opposed to what is said.

Just been listening to a live web stream to BBC World. Quite a long countdown played. Has anyone captured a video that they could upload yet please for those without BBC World?

Does anybody have any ideas as to whether the full countdown will be uploaded onto the BBC Broadcast site, like the current News 24 countdown was ?

Well i just woke up after a hard day lol, to find I see a 12 seconds countdown and at first I thought it was a joke, the numbers on the right dont go well and it looks like a mistake of one they mmade at news 24, but its not to bad and it finished the way i imagined...oh and with those swooshy sounds in it, it makes it sound like someones sweeping away snow

Did anyone else just see at the top of the hour when they showed the wrong ariel shot of The World stuidoo all dark and abandoned?

Hahah i just found that bit a wee bit amusing! too tired to say what it was but it involved looking at Dharshini and David.

And I remember correctly what I read earlier, is there a new weather sting?
