Actually, my dear twát, I think you'll find it's a much shorter version of the old music, and - as you have conceded - new graphics. As far as any reasonable, sensible, logical or intelligent person would acknowledge, this would constitute a new sting.
Accordingly, this would explain why you have failed to acknowledge the existence of the new sting, though the reasons behind your witless arrogance remain a mystery frankly not worth investigating.

Anyway, shut up. I'm watching Martine Dennis being fab and you're spoiling it.

Maybe it's been a long night for him, love. Stayed up all night to wait for a 14 second countdown sequence that didn't turn up, by the looks of things?
Digital Spy wants you. You're on their level.
It's the OLD music, just with new graphics. Frankly, all it is is a three second sting and this is a sodding pointless argument.
I'll wait for Charlie to come along and blind me with his sunglasses before I take marching orders from any of your sorts round here.
EDIT: Charlie Wells is a poor choice for moderator. BBC WORLD puts in far more effort around here and is very often online. He also comes across as a nice guy, not a pompous "I think I'm a moderator" moderator/member.

Very nice new countdown and good remix of the music. The clock is now on the bottom right. It finishes with the BBC World logo and the words "Putting News First."
The only thing I don't like is that they still use the voiceover "This is BBC World - putting news first."

A pointless argument it may be, but if you're going to insistent on being quite so high and mighty, you might at least make some effort to get your facts right. The old music lasted around 8 seconds; the remixed version of the music lasts less than half that.
And incidentally, the new countdown just debuted. Countdown numbers at the bottom right of the screen, and a subtle remix of the N24 countdown theme. Ends with fullscreen stacked BBC WORLD logo over the same "red fuzz" endboard of the N24 countdown.
Smart.

Yes just spotted the end of the new countdown... shall have to watch at 1100!
The music sounded nice at the end
I wonder how many versions there will be?
