If ypu are just about to present a news special there is a lot to wonder about.
Very correct.
Heres a shot rarely seen! loks as if theyve moved the camera, it would look good if they left it as a permanent shot! (this post is an hour late lol and the picture wont upload!)
EDIT.... heres the shot!

I suppose Mike Embley will be bringing us the Shuttle Landing, seeing that I just saw him wondering behind in the newsroom with his glasses on at the tip of his nose!

That's slightly more like a "worm's eye view" ("contrapicado" in Spanish); you see Mishal from a lower point. It would look better if the World newsroom had that circular things you can see in the ceiling of News 24:

Haha I just woke up and turned the tv on and I went to bbc world and I thought it was me seeeing things but im sure I saw a floor manager or something in a green t-shirt, mucking around with David Brenner's head/sholder area and when the man walked away David had a big smilie. Was this real lol? Or just me seeing things?
MA
It's a foul slur. Simply not true that David Brenner demands a blow job from the floor manager before going on air.

Well, The 1800CET bulletin was the worst I have ever seen. At 18:13 Nik Gowing's mobile rang when he was presenting. We could clearly see when he turned it off in his pocket. Then David started the Sport without his microport!!! And someone brought it to him to put it up. Then in the weather forecast the movements on the map were not smooth. Well done!

I'm normally very loyal to BBC News but a couple of weeks abroad seeing BBC WORLD on a regular basis and even my patience is tested.
Here are some criticisms:
Firstly, I think it's more a case of 'BBC World...putting programme trailers first.' Why do we need to be continually reminded of the upcoming opportunities to watch what seems like the only three programmes that BBC World has to offer beside the news (sometimes for as longs as three minutes). If I hear that couple one more time saying, '...we just want to live together, be together, go to sleep together, wake up together' I will go mad! Or the signature tune for Top Gear that sounds like the theme music from 'Psycho'. It all gives the impression that nobody's bought any advertising! I'm half expecting the potter's wheel to return one day!
Secondly, the News 24 countdown is so good, surely it's time to make the BBC World countdown a little more electrifying. I don't understand why we get a little clock in the bottom right of the screen that counts us down to the hour which turns out to be a countdown into another countdown! Ultimately, there are too many segments that all too often collide painfully into each other. The music is fine, if not as strong as News 24, but visually its weak.
Thirdly, is it possible to discover at what time you can expect a weather forecast for the part of the world that you're actually in? I'm in South-East Asia and hours seem to pass before the new wobbling globe gets round to here.
Fourthly, I think the idea of "The World Live' is good in theory but doesn't it just leave you feeling your watching a collection of CCTV cameras normally reserved for traffic congestion or crime detection swinging into action?
Apart from that, I love it!

That's not a criticism you can level at BBC World. that's produced by Earth TV and shown on many other channels.

For a very good reason - BBC World is funded by advertising and therefore they need to have ad breaks. They need something to put on in the parts of the world which haven't sold adverts..... which is what the trails are there for
