Does anyone saw the 1300CET bulletin? Who was the presenter?
I wasn't paying attention to the clock, but I did see Adrian Finneghan on this afternoon, if that's any use to you.

My god! is Rob Bonnet tall. lol if that was him that I saw walking down the newsroom to the bit we cant see. Adrian was doing an interview with someone to do with King Fahd's funreal and when they showed a wide shot of the both of them I saw him walking along.

Most people your see walking in the background are little!,... well i mean you only really see their chest and head from the red thingee. but Rob was much taller! and he wasnt even that close to the set.

If it wasnt Rob then im not sure. But he was very tall! Smile

.

Rob is a senior presenter and so has a work experience boy employed to carry him round the newsroom. That probably makes him look taller.

As part of her contract, Hazel Irvine is supplied with a pair of BBC-issued stilts.

The news special made this day a bit tricky. This is my report on BBC World today:
02.08.2005:
all times CET
6,7,8: Mike Embley
9,10,11,12,13: Lucy Hockings
14-1530: Nik Gowing (News special)
16,17,18,19,20: Adrian Finighan

Adrian Finighan at 16:27: "Next I will be again - I'm sorry about that - it will be Asia Today..." Very Happy

I think from 22 it will be Al again.

wow! And he was enjoying his job! Today I realised he is a very colorful person. After sports news in connection with Rossi: "How can he be bored with such a beautiful motorcycle!"

Thanks for your updates of who is doing what. I have found it particularly useful during the last days when I have been without access to my Beloved Channel! However, I am back on line today.

Adrian and Manisha were an excellent pairing on TWT this morning. Well done indeed and in need of some permanence???? I assume that Martine Dennis is on holiday?

(Harshy - as an aside - after your comments on the other thread, I flew Singapore to Phuket on Tiger Airways this morning. It was the most turbulent flight I ever had in my life. Crew were good though.................... So what's the liklehood of a presenter resghuffle at World then? Looking at Pojjozs daily postings, there has been a different presenter on TWT every day this week so far. Maybe they are looking for someone to replace Eades, who the BBC has just realised is a terrible anchor.)
