Most of the output is coming from N6, with other bulletins shared with News 24.

Havn't watched BBCW at this late hour in years but the 5 o clock GMT news is coming from the National 1/6/10 news set, with the usual catch phase "This isBBC News from BBC World.......the headlines." Maybe this is the different look hinted.

I'm confused! So is bbc world news going to come from N6 this weekend and some shared with News 24 or were you talking about yesterday afternoon?

So why will there be no news coming from World's set or the other one opposite it?

So is there maintenance work going on in the World Newsroom or is News 24 coming from the World set this weekend?

It's probably just maintenance, and nothing else to worry about. It happens from time to time.

Harshy, there are no ads at all. During the one (maximum two) ad breaks withing the confines of a thirty minute bulletin, the Thai version shows a still screen for UBC (???) - some local broadcasting company, with gentle music played over it. Then, it eases back into the BBC World bulletin seamlessly, without all the hitches, jumps, fits and starts that I am normally used to witnessing. The whole handling of timing is far better than usual.

The exit from the bulletin to the still slide is also done very well.

It's only Midday here, we're currently on summer time (GMT+1). The 1 O'clock news doesn't broadcast at the weekend either. There may be a short bulletin scheduled around now though.
