Im not sure where else its used if it is used in other places, but when David Eades goes to Brussels he seems to sit somewhere with a red strip behind him and a shot of building with flags. but I think it was like this before the relaunch in 2003

that's exactly what I've always thought it looked like.
I saw the new New York studio on WBR last night. Not impressed I have to say. Does it only have one camera angle?
I wish they'duse Washington more, even if they sit at the wrong end of the desk. It is a great studio.

Ive seen 4! they have a wide shot when presenter gives us a couple of headlines, then the normal presenter shot, a guest shot and a shot of dharshini david asking a question.
I agree washington has a great set and it needs to be used more!

Yeah I agree, shes got that look of a person as you say, even Jamie is better than her. Not a fan of Mark Eddo either.

i just like to say that after watching BBC World for several years now, presenters like Alastair Yates and Katy Kay are to be commended for not being afraid to show their human side whilst maintaining a perfeclty professional approach. Their natural humaness sets them apart from the impersonality of the internet and other presenters, particulary in the current news environment.

I agree with you on the this but not so much with Katty Kay, I dont really like here as much, but she is a good presenter but there needs to be a change in washington.
