But why two editions on World last night then? Having one edition an hour earlier, I can understand. But two editions, espec when BBC4 is not showing the later one, is a bit strange.
maybe there were more palestinian women who needed their plight reported on than usual?

Either that or to cater for the World audience who want to see the show at it's normal time as well as the BBC4 audience. As it's in the same studio I presume it's impossible to do a normal World bulletin at the same time. Mind they could have always used N6 but it's a bit of a waste, it's only world isn't it.

Now you've runied the illusion

The BBC never fires anyone. If you are so bad as to be beyond redemption, it promotes you out of harms way.

Just been watching World this morning my time and got to see the new plasma shots for business, sport and news extra.
I took a picture with my crap digital camera of the sport one and even news extra one!

Im not really sure what they are supposed to be but it looks as if you would think they would have an animation when they first show the shot but they dont, its just static.

I made a mock before of what I see from the News Extra graphic.

Does anyone know anything about Adrian Finighan's past career? I saw him on BBC World on my holidays, and rate him very highly, despite the fact he only appears at weekends. Also, when he has occassionally popped up on N24 he has been highly watchable. However, I cannot find anything on the internet about where he was before BBC World. Can anyone enlighten me?

Does the News 24 use the same breakfiller as the BBC World? Because I'm sure I saw the breakfiller in the background when David Jessel was speaking at 1913CET

news 24 doesn't have a break filler on account of it not having breaks. except for trailers and weather.

Well, it's interesting. How could the breakfiller get onto one of the tvs in the background?
