Is someone able to tell me what the usual shifts are on BBC World (in hours) and which presenters usually present in each shift pattern.

Thanks
Very Happy

I don't watch European Breakfast but from 8am(UK)onwards
It's usually
Martine Dennis/ Adrian Finighan/Lyse Doucet(8am -12pm)
Nisha Pillai/Geeta Guru Murthy,(12pm-4pm)
Nik Gowing(4pm-7pm)
BBC Four/World presenter
Mike Embley(9pm-1pm)(with Katty Kay around 11BST)

But they tend to swap the presenters around, I saw Nisha on the Martine shift the other day for example.

Nice sounds on BBC World!

Adrian handled it very well though.

They're directly opposite each other - they just spin the cameras around for World Biz & Sport Today etc

I was told it used to look like this (just a rough and incomplete sketch made some time ago with the previous studio layout). No idea how it looks now though as I have the impression the main set was shifted a little to the middle of the studio.

Lol. That's pretty good, and almost spot-on.

If I find the time and some high quality stills I might. The current scene is based on some of the pictures from BBC World's Insite, however a photo of the new studio layout is yet to appear...

Indeed Tim an excellent mock up there. Do you work in graphic design?

No, I just needed some project to experiment with while learning 3D Studio, so I decided to recreate (part of) the World newsroom. As you can see, I'm still quite miserable at lighting...
