Actually, it's been a real mish-mash of styles today. OId titles with red globes. Then orange globes with new titles (I actually saw one BBC World full length bulletin that had the BBC World titles mid screen, with BBC News at the footer. Two hours later, on another full length bulletin, it was BBC News mid screen, with BBC World at the footer...............alas. I am sure someone in the gallery just did this deliberately to keep all of us amused on this forum!!!!!
No Anya Sitaram or Lucy Hockings either yesterday. Instead, we had Ben Brown and Geeta Guru-Murthy.
Adrian Finighan had a studio guest in for an interview about the latest Balkan crisis during one of the full length bulletins, and the guy's mobile phone kept ringing in his pocket. He made no attempt to switch it off , until it rang a second time and Adrian had to cut short the interview.

Yes and on the weekend they use the already rendered titles for the summary which says BBC News on top with BBC World at the footer, with the orange globe, then for the full titles they use TOG with has the red globe with BBC World on top with BBC News at the footer, and I've even seen two versions of the transparant BBC World DOG, one says BBC World with bbcnews.com as the URL and BBC World with bbcworld.com, so at the moment things are a little haywire which is more noticeable on a weekend.

Indeed. Also, someone posted previously that Zeinab was the new anchor for The World. However, Kirsty lang was on one night last week, and Zeinab did another session of BBC World news bulletins.
So, who is it - Zeinab or Kirsty??
Good to see Nisha Pillai on Friday. She is one of my favourites. Who presented TWT on Friday, byt the way?

Who presented TWT on Friday, by the way?
Martine Dennis, with Sarah Cobourne (spell?).

I think so.
Anyway, since all the countdowns they have shown in the last month are shorter than 15 secs and the last 5 secs are occupied by the awful "This is BBC World, Putting News First" I'd rather not to see any countdown anymore.
Tu non credi, James?

Is it me, or is the music to the top of the hour out of sync by a good half second.

Hmmm, I actually quite like the countdown AND the voiceover!!! Sorry Maltese.
However, I just wish the darned thing was longer, and was similar to the new N24 countdown. I do, however, feel that a booming male voice would be better for the countdown, as opposed to a rather "bambi-like" female voice at present. (Don't all start throwing stones, please.)
Was Sally back on TWT today?
Ciao.

No, Manisha Tank was on TWT.
Anyway, a longer countdown and perhaps some changes would be very appreciated.

New BBC World Weather graphics. I think they're nice, but actually not brilliant at all... and someone shoud tell the BBC that Dhaka is in Bangladesh, not in Nepal.
