Yesterday I noticed that the beam under the tower is not 3D anymore. It's flat and actually, you can look through it. Looks like another mistake to me?
Furthermore, where are the 'bangs' between the headlines at the TOTH and why is the title sequence still out of sink?
These are perhaps small details, but taken together, it makes BBC World look slightly messy to me. Hope it's not flowing back to the old days of late last year when everything was dreadfully disjointed.

I noticed that the new titles are out of synch only when the text flying around the globe is "BBC NEWS".
it still says BBC World with BBC News at the bottom, is there anyone there actually monitoring the output, or is it all Christopher Columbus robots at work.
A few chnages at World this past week. Perhaps due to the Uk election???
Zeinab Badawi hosted "The World" most nights of the week. Adrian Finighan popped up during the week unusually, aside from his weekend shift. Kirsty Lang was presenting the weekend version of BBC World News. Lucy Hockings was presenting from Norway during the week, yet was still back at the newsdesk yesterday for her regular weekend stint. Jon Sopel presented HardTalk.
And, all of that in addition to the news bulletin presented by Manisha and Darshini!!
It's been an eventful week at World. It's nice to get some variety in the line up.
Yes, I recall Adrian doing that in the dim, distant past. In fact, John Terrett (ex BBC World News / WBR) also used to present the news on BBC Radio 2.
There is also a lady who does the lunchtime news on radio 1 Newsbeat who sounds exactly like Sally Bundock. It's not her though, AFAIK.

Zeinab Badawi is the new permanent host of 'The World'
The edition of Hardtalk presented by Jon Sopel was a repeat
Lucy was interviewing some mediators who were involved in the Sri Lankan peace efforts, I think. If I recall correctly, they handed over to her for an Asia Today report.
So, if Zeinab is now on The World, what will Kirsty do???
I prefer Zeinab anyway, with the exception of her manic left thumb!! (Watch tomorrow - you will see what I mean.............)

I noticed this, indeed the World TOG is more transparant in general then News 24, particularly the bottom bit which is actually flat.
BTW have they sorted their BBC World titles so it says BBC News at the top instead of bottom?
