The 1730BST edition of WBR has appearently been canceled. Instead, I noticed that a 30 min WBR is on schedule at 0130BST. I wonder if it'll be live and who will present it...

Has anyone noticed how BBC World seem to have stopped using their headline vamps with thunderclaps? They now use the clean one at the top of every hour. Bit of a shame really, as it was punchy with the thunderclaps.

The thunderclaps have returned, Darshini is looking more beautiful than ever, and Martine Dennis has appearently changed her name to Pope Mourned - why is there always something wrong with the graphics on BBCWorld?

Maltese.......

You make me laugh! But, hey, you are correct about the captions - they are always wrong, mispelt and dropping in and out at the wrong time too.

Dove sei?

BBC World used to have the very dramatic thunderclaps, I don't get BBC World so im a little unsure as to whether these are the same or tweaked in the recent pres changes.

Dominic di Natale was freelance and no longer works for the BBC Business Unit on that basis.

He has been spotted in both CNN and Sky News Centres in London.

The headline vamps haven't been tweaked at all -- they're the ones introduced in December 2003.

However, if World keep up their pattern of a musical refresh every two or so years, maybe we can expect something later this year? IIRC, the music changes have been 1991 (original), 1993, 1995, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003 -- quite a few considering the channel's only existed for 14 years. In the same period, BBC1 News has had 3 major changes.
