Seems to be a technical problem - at the break at 11.15 there was an empty seat, live, after the recorded info disappeared.

For anyone wondering how Anita Macnaught has been, WORLD ran a package from her, from New Zealand, during the overnight simulcast. So despite her move to an NZ station, she's obviously still able to freelance for the Beeb.

A global TV news channel watched by millions of people at any one time is taken off air in London because someone feels a bit poorly?

One of the crew in the gallery had an asthma attack and they couldn't proceed due to the ambulance crew.

Another interesting "twist" of late has been the recruitment of Aaron Heslehurst from WBR and Business News, to the team of presenters on "Fast-track", the BBC World Travel Programme. Aaron presents a regular weekly slot pertaining to the world of air travel.

So, these normally "desk bound" guys DO in actual fact get around!!

I noticed that too. Haven't seen him do WBR for ages now - is Fasttrack his main programme now?

It seems that way -- Darshini David seems to be on all the time now during the daytime.

I was watching the 7PM GMT bulletin, the ticker seemed to constantly jolt on screen, it seems to get worse!

Animal behaviour and their apparent capacity for demonstrating human-style emotions. David Eades referred to the package going into the break of TWT by saying "...and we'll be talking about animals - but we'll try not to hurt their feelings."
