Yes Harshy. We have lots of US based channels here.; But they are mainly sh*t. Except CNN International - it is excellent.

But then again, I am a total news junkie.

Thanks again, I had a look at the Orbit package, seems to be an interesting array of channels, although I couldn't see BBC World for some reason, I could only see BBC Prime, it must be my eyes!

when mishal husain returns next month to BBC World, do you think she'll replace Mike Embley on the co-presentation bulletins?

Yep very likely, hopefully this means Mr Embley is on N24 more.

Highly unlikely as Katty is the main presenter for the co pres now. It's important for the BBC in America that these programmes are mainly presented from Washington. The London presenter is a very junior role.

Mishal will probably return to a daytime shift

Does this mean that Mike Embley has been presenting on N24 recently?

I was just listening to BBC World and David Brenner was doing some sports news and what he was reading, was ahead of the stories showing and when the story switched he would make jokes about it.. then when he handed back to martinne they both joked about it! very funny to listen to but I didnt see it!

Interesting that Martine Dennis is presenting on BBC World at the moment.
And I just see that Phillipa Thomas is in Rome. Is it because of the pope why we are getting the BBC's best presenters on a Sunday morning?

Probably not - more likely to be because Adrian Finighan isn't on this weekend. Yesterday we had Ben Brown, Lucy Hockings and Anya Sitaram.
