Yes, it was indeed Sally Bundock. She and David appeared to be miming across to each other at the start of the programme in that cosy chat period before the camera comes to David for the introduction proper.
You could tell the sound was on because of the background noise, but nothing was actually coming out of their mouths!! Wooden, or what.
Also, David was a bit flummoxed this morning - "am I on BBC, or BBC News or BBC World", seemed to be the thoughts going through his head. So he settled for just saying Welcome to TWT from BBC!

Should still be in the Sports team methinks.
You'll find most presenters mime the chat at the start and end of programme wide shots, they can't be sitting there having a cosy chat about what might be for breakfast , if you listen carefully its just Sally saying to David "should I go first?", he replies "no I'll go first"... This if anything is the complete opposite to wooden, it shows great interaction between presenters. For example think back to when Deborah McKenzie presented TWT recently she just sat there and didn't say a word on the pre-title music bed, the same with Sally Eden.
It was great to see Sally back though, but I also felt that David was a bit thrown by something this morning. He made several slips, most obvious was the opening post-title line which he reads everyday so should have got it..."Stick with us for an hour of news, business and sport". He also fluffed the end and asked the viewer to "stay with us" - well unless your watching world you don't really have a choice.
Let's hope David is back to normal tomorrow, or just get Adrian in.
Just come back from a stay in Belgium/Netherlands where BBC World time-shares with French station Arte (which is pretty good BTW). First time I've actually watch BBC World proper and didn't find it as good as it's made out to be on TV Forum. It is good and you get a buzz from watching a BBC channel you know you're never going to watch in the UK but after about an hour of having it on, you begin to notice how low budget and repetitive it is. I began to realise how much better BBC News 24 is.
