The BBC Weather Centre, has now changed the weather patterns!

Although it was time that the BBC Weather needed a face-lift, it seemed that the only face-lift that the BBC Weather Centre has adopted seemes to come from Sky News's Weather!

Where there weather graphics from Sky News Weatehr is horrendous, with rain and cloud mixing together and being generally hard, especially for those with eye-sight problems (as an example), may find it very hard to distinguish.

Also why is it that the entire globe's land mass painted in sand colours? Is it the BBC Weather Centre saying to us that global warming is here and we should see sand soil right on our door steps?!

I have eyesight problems, and I've never ever had a problem working out what's what on Sky News Weather.

I dont find Sky News' weather graphics hard to understand at all. What is hard to understand is the first sentence of the quote ive used! If you want to know why the BBC has coloured land brown, why dont you look in the existing thread to find the answer? Its been discussed plenty of times in there and has also been mentioned a few times during Breakfast and on the BBC website.
