Seeing more of the set, it looks pretty bad. The tiny sports/weather screen, old desk and sofa, and the narrow backdrop let it down a lot.

Hmm, they're using a mix of CSO and rear projection. Odd.

Like they've gone for blue on Newyddion - though seem to have forgotten on a couple of graphics, and of course the sofa is out of place. Surely wouldn't be difficult to switch them for Newyddion.

I don't think there's any CSO. There are using the same 3 rear projection screens they had before, and have some static 'newsroom' images behind glass panels with a plastic 'frosted' effect. The backdrop is lit differently for Wales Today and Newyddion.

There is no CSO used - they are the same old projection screens. It's easier to see on the video for Newyddion - you can see the reflection on the floor change as the screen changes, from 0:55 to 1:00.

Why is there that strange green reflection on the above image?

In that cap above you can also see the image reflected on the desk. I think the green reflection on the floor is just to do with the floor itself.
