I am visiting London in June this year and I really want to go on a tour of the BBC Television Centre. My question is, do you know if they allow a tour of the BBC News T6 studio by any chance? As that would be my highlight of the tour being able to visit the studio, also do they show you around BBC News and how they work in their daily schedules?
I think you mean N6 and no they don't. You might* get a chance to sit in the conference room in the main newsroom (that used to be the nationals backdrop) but you won't be allowed in/near/by N24/World. That said you do get a good look at some others, TC4 etc. from the viewing gallery.

I presume N6 is used for the 1, 6 and 10 o clock news. Anyone have a 'report' of their last trip there (i.e. what they did?)
I deffo understand that you wouldnt be allowed near N24 or BBC World.
I went on the tour about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately you don't get into any of the news studios, but yes you will probably be taken into the conference room just next to the newsroom. When I was there I met Jane Hill, Huw Edwards and Dermot Murnaghan. Saw into other studios (from a high up viewing gallery) and saw Blue Peter going out live and saw the Little Britain sets being prepared. Quite an interesting tour, but more of the news side of things would have been interesting.
I went on the tour in October 2006 and we were allowed into the conference room, but not near the actual studios. I went on a Saturday and it was the first day of Strictly Come Dancing so there were a lot of celebs about the place but we were under strict instructions not to talk to anyone. We did see Darren Jordan eating his lunch though lol
I have been on a tour of TV Centre. I would have liked to see the news stduios but yes you do sit in the conference room of the news centre and get a talk about BBC News.
I did however get to see Studios1, 3, 4 & 8 with the latter two only from the gallery.
You also get to see the outside of TV Centre where celebrities enter. It all depends on what is available on each day as TV Centre is busy. I was dissappointed.
Does anyone know if The London Studios offer tours? I would love to see their studios mostly Studio1 where Ant and Dec, Al Murray, Fridanight Project, Parkinson etc are made in. Does anyone know.
