The 11am shift on the News Channel this morning presented by Sophie Long and Ben Brown with Tim Willcox in Cyprus. Will any of them continue beyond 12? I don't think Tim has presented on strikes in the past, but he might if he is on location.
I reckon they'll repeat the 11.00 hour at 12, then they can try and prepare some sort of programme for 1.00, most probably with Gavin Grey for the afternoon, then Chris Rogers coming in for 6. We shall see!

@chrisrogersnews: It might be best I don't look at twitter tomorrow, at least I am leaving the country for a while from friday
I wonder if there are any restrictions on the BBC playing reports filed prior to the strike. Would the Unions have issue with that?

The lack of time checks this hour on BBC News suggests they will repeat the hour at 12pm. I'm guessing we'll then have Gavin Grey for The One and a few hours on NC as with the last strike.
The World at One is replaced by News at 1.00, followed by Document at 1.15.
PM is replaced at 5.00 by Archive on 4.
The World Tonight at 10.00 is replaced by Loose Ends.
BBC Two Scotland have just said the film scheduled for 12.30 is moved to 12 - which means Politics Scotland is cancelled. I take it the Daily Politics is also not going to be on.

What do they do with the midnight news on R4? Obviously the strike will be over then but many who will have been putting it together will have been on strike.
