"I'm just blown away by the size of the whole thing..."

This week's edition has just gone out, presented by Kate

Hum. I don't really think STORYFix is Kate's thing - she's far too upbeat and lively, and yet still seems as if she's reading every word from an autocue. It just didn't work this week.

Apart from that though, quite a good edition!

I think Kate started off a little wooden, but then became more comfortable with the programme towards the end. I suppose the BBC are trying out all of these faces to make a decision on who will replace Emily. Although they do have a few more months yet.

I like Kate Silverton's personable style and friendliness- it's very different from Maitlis but just as effective.

The only thing missing was the zip in delivery- it's meant to be a really fast paced video (the pictures were, but the links simply weren't).

Definitely a good debut though, and marvellous content- a very good Fix.

Kate was very handwavy compared to Emily's usual deadpan delivery. I like deadpan.

I liked the sly The Day Today reference too.

i like Kate, she seems to be on everything at the moment, N24, Breakfast, Panorama and now this - she's dominating everything at the mo which i don't mind as she's watchable and comes a close second to Natasha imho. I'd have liked to have seen her and Simon do the One o'clock show - is that going to replace Nationwide if not those two would be ideal for it.

Has anyone signed up to recive a podcast of it every week........ I have!

Emily's back this week. But it seemd to be lacking a bit of . . . oomph (sp?). Apart from Chris Hollins' face

Yep not the best but still amusing. Not quite sure about that new "music" for the final flashback.
