A major shame. It was possibly always on the wrong channel (although, while BBC3 was sort of the best setting, where the hell do you put it?) The biggest issue for me was that it never seemed settled on News 24. This was brilliantly demonstrated one Saturday afternoon where News 24 cut off for Storyfix for 10 minutes, then cut back to a solemn newsreader declaring 'breaking' (ie - was on Sky five minutes ago) news that a UK soldier had been killed in Iraq. It always felt in danger of something like that. The other problem was that it was always a filler - you could never deliberately tune in for it.

Having just watched it by accident (such is always the way) I'm gonna miss it though. God bless everyone involved. Especially for this week's competition winner joke... obvious but still very funny Laughing

Not long to go now until the last one...Wonder who will present it? I saw both James and Louise down at BBC News & Sport On Tour in Bristol today...it'd be great if they both presented it but it'll probably be James on his own...

and so ....

it's over.

Well, it was a sort of mish-mash of everyone presenting the final Storyfix, and IMO what an awful shame to see it go.

Well im gutted. Friday nights just wont be the same. Nice way to end though seeing everyone who presented it. Loved Emily's opening line! I really hope the BBC keep it online in the archives. Would be tragic if it dissappeared all together!

Might be worth adding that the final capture from this show said "Storyfixed" Would love to see it back one day.

That woman who started and ended it, was she born p¡ssed off?

She looked so unhappy and inconvenienced and she seemed to rush everything she was saying just to go and get lunch or something!

Haven't seen Storyfix for ages, was that a clip of Nicola Pearson presenting one?

Yes she presented it a few weeks ago. Think she has only done the one though.

If you watch the early STORYFix's that is Emily's style - she did it very dead pan (which I suppose could be seen as what you describe)
