A major shame. It was possibly always on the wrong channel (although, while BBC3 was sort of the best setting, where the hell do you put it?) The biggest issue for me was that it never seemed settled on News 24. This was brilliantly demonstrated one Saturday afternoon where News 24 cut off for Storyfix for 10 minutes, then cut back to a solemn newsreader declaring 'breaking' (ie - was on Sky five minutes ago) news that a UK soldier had been killed in Iraq. It always felt in danger of something like that. The other problem was that it was always a filler - you could never deliberately tune in for it.
Having just watched it by accident (such is always the way) I'm gonna miss it though. God bless everyone involved. Especially for this week's competition winner joke... obvious but still very funny
