BBC STORYFix Thread

That's a shame, with it being shown on News 24 I thought it would have been made permanent. Would any enterprising TVF members like to club together to make an occasional "what the news programmes have been talking about this week"?

Im gutted that storyfix is coming to an end. They axe BBC Three News, and now Fix. Tuh. I know it was part of the trial, but who says at the end of the trial period, it cant keep going?

Well i have to say im gutted it's going. It's always very well put together & a very welcome alternative way to watch the news. Let's hope we get a nice bumper long edition to send it off with!

Maryam was very good this week! Liked the whole 'dont mess with me' thing! Great editing too of 'What the news programmes have been talking about' it made me chuckle which it hasnt in a while.

So the last fix is next week, I'm still not over it being axed! Will we see Emily return, or any of the other past presenters to say bye? Im sure Nicky and the three team have something planned.

Its a shame they have no plans to bring it back too. It was a great concept to present the news, and it worked too!

What a shame, STORYFix is great.

Personally, I thought 'RORYFix' was one of the best!

Bah! I shall have to look elsewhere for a reminder of which light-hearted stories will likely appear in the current affairs round of my local pub quiz.

Hopefully this could be just an hiatus, once the results of the experiment are known and the Podcast service gets a PVT and approval by the BBC Trust, AND if the Licence settlement restrictions don't interfere, Storyfix or something similar might be back in the future.

Big shame it waz good fun!
