I agree with what you are saying, but when you consider that in most of the storyfixes so far they only seem to mock breakfast and news 24, it's hardly surprising. I do think she's using the slot as a bit of self-publicity.

Absolutely loved the interaction between Julia Caesar (I know I dislike her lots) and Jon Sopel featured in
This week's fix

Good Fix this week, really enjoyed it, nice fast pace again. I liked the juxtaposition with Kate and the PM 'not going anywhere' - , and the discussion on this thread recently has been talking about Kate's appearances on Storyfix and whether she will be on it until Emily returns - maybe this thread has been read by a certain Ms Silverton

All of Kate's comments in this week's fix make it seem like she's been reading this place..?!?!
We do love you really!

EDIT - Beaten to it!

Bit disappointed with the first half of this week's fix- the "news in places" didn't really work and it just seemed quite mundane.
They obviously spent too long matching up the clips used for "the week in news programmes", which was very well done and much more like it.
Music at the end also sounded a bit more techno than previously.

A slight niggle that the graphics aren't Tower-safe, but some good stuff as usual from the Fix

I think some of the team are indeed from the old BBC Three news.
Good fix this week, and a bit longer than usual- plenty of material from Prescott et al at the Labour conference.
