According to the press releases at the time of the new set, the studio has 10 103" plasmas - this presumably refers to the three on the hard area, the touchscreen and the six on the soft area. Yet, the six on the soft area, not only look smaller but would not fit in the given area if they were 103". When recently, recreating the set I worked out that the 85" inch model of the same series fitted almost exactly, is anyone able to confirm this suspicion?

Noticed tonight that Reporting Scotland have updated their opening titles. Not much different. Normal viewer won't notice it.
It doesn't matter anyway. They fail to hold on the 'form up' for anything longer than a nano-second, so you barely get a chance to see the programme name.
Question Time is the worst for this - they never hold the titles once they've run, so you only ever get the briefest glimpse of the programme name before the show starts. Must be bad coding in the Dimblebot playout system.
Happened across An La on BBC Alba, quite a curious use of astons to give an English summary of some of the stories, and the description field on the name straps animates off and back on in English. This seems pretty redundant as there are no English subtitles available, so non Gaelic speakers wouldn't be able to understand the interviewees.
