On Tuesday night, there was no studio shot, just desk presenter and a camera backdrops. Is that the newsroom?

The same as they use at breakfast?

As far as I have been led to understand the studio is always used for the late bulletin whether you see a wide shot or not - save for some occasional exceptions (pre-recording for Scotland 2015 perhaps). The late news and weather is one end of the set and Scotland 2015 is the other (not "separate studios" as noted by the Bazinga person here).

Reporting Scotland has been increased to one hour format for the run up to the Election, One show has been dropped and it will not be shown.

Makes little sense in the context of a news programme - best just not reference it at all but if they must "Earlier" is sufficient.
