With Studio C being on the top floor, how would the parts for a new set get up there? Is there a freight lift anywhere? Also if I was in charge of the new set, if there is indeed a new one, I'd open the stage door which is in line with the 'stairs' and would offer a decent newsroom backdrop, would also allow them to re-jig where entry doors are.

How do we know the current set is still in Studio C? and not in Studio B? Ie allowing C to be updated.

how does anyone know if their set is being updated at all?..
for all we know, the bulletins could be coming from the newsroom due to staffing issues/technical faults with the main set. imo.

the current one has been in since 2007, seems like a long time. The current set is tired and dated imo.

So your expansion of "tired and dated" is "tired [and] old"? As for "generally not pleasing to the eye", this aspect is the same as day one of this set, so why is it suddenly and issue.

"Tired and dated" seems to have become a euphemism on this site for "I'm bored of it". Rolling Eyes

There are numerous good reasons to replace sets - changing brand, damage, technical reasons (e.g. change of display technology), new location, and so on. The fact that it needs a couple of hours with a paintbrush and a pack of cleaning wipes is not one of these good reasons.

So I put it to you again, please expand on your comments as to why the set needs replacing - without resorting to a thesaurus for alternative words for "tired" and "dated".

Well you kind of do if you want to participate in a discussion forum. If all you want is a sounding board for you to speek ur braiiins, then there are much more appropriate venues. Digital Spy perhaps?
