Just looking throught the sky EPG to see what's on and noticed that BBC1 South is showing BBC London News this evening. Looked at the other regions and they are all showing it too.
I imagine that they copy the epg data across from the network feed and someone has forgotten to change the region details.
I think it was JUST the on-screen details that were wrong, Bruce; the correct programmes went out on the correct channels, just that Points West had a BBC London News label.
How come the EPG info can normally be correct for the regional news progs, but when the English regions opt out for something else, it's never updated, it always shows 'network' info?
I gather from a previous thread, the regions don't have the abillity to do the change themselves, but how much notice does London need to change the info on the EPG ?

I have seen the EPG info updated with staggering speed sometimes, so I would presume they just need to be informed and they can update it straight away.

Ah I see. Nothing like the original poster being clear about what he meant, eh?

I love your username Uncle Bruce, was inspired by the lovely Fiona Bruce?

Umm...I don't think so.
I think he is paying tribute to HTV West newsreader, Bruce Hockin, who retired a few years ago.
